Atlantic Treasures Represents Ireland at Singapore Expo
It was an exciting week with our Atlantic Treasures range featured at the Bord Bia seafood stand at the Food Hotel Asia Food and Beverage Singapore Expo. As one of the seven Irish exporters showcased at the event, Atlantic Treasures Smoked Mackerel featured alongside some key seafood companies from Ireland. It was a proud moment for all of us to see our products showcased among some of the top food and drink products from Ireland and around the world.
The Food Hotel Asia Expo is one of the leading shows for food and beverage in South-East Asia, attracting buyers and exhibitors from all over the world. With over 80,000 visitors from 110 countries and more than 2,000 exhibitors the trade show showcased the latest technology, innovations and future trends of the food and drinks industry.
The FHA conference in Singapore was attended by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Donegal T.D., Charlie McConalogue as part of his trade mission to Japan and Singapore.
Speaking at the event, the minister said: “I am very proud to see these seafood companies in such demand.”
The Minister alongside Bord Bia engaged in meetings with existing and potential customers, showcasing Ireland’s capability to become a leading global supplier of sustainable food – something we’re very passionate about being Ireland’s most sustainable seafood business.
