News: #LoveDonegalDay with Michael O'Donnell
While I’ve travelled the world, I have lived and worked in Donegal all my life and I can say with certainty that it’s one of the most magical places in the world to call home.

Today is #LoveDonegalDay so the perfect time to shout about our county with pride. Visiting soon or thinking about relocating? Here’s some places to see, do, explore and check out:

Saint John’s Point - undoubtedly one of my favourite places to visit and only a short drive from Killybegs. The views are spectacular.

The hidden waterfall in Killybegs - not so much of a secret now but a stunning place to visit. Watch for the slippy rocks....

Sliabh Liag Cliffs by sea and land - you will be amazed by the views from these cliffs. Simply stunning by both land and sea. Highly recommend Atlantic Coastal Cruises.

The Seafood Shack, Hughie’s Bar, Ahoy Cafe, Tara Hotel, Bay View - experience top class food and hospitality in these Killybegs gems. Great spots to switch off after work and enjoy some down time.

Malin Head - I’m not totally biased to the south of the county! Malin Head offers amazing views and sights and Malin Town is a great spot to stop off and enjoy meeting friendly locals.

An Dúlamán Irish Maritime Gin - whether you’re a fan of gin or not, you must try Donegal’s gin made by the Sliabh Liag Distillers using locally harvested seaweed.

These are just the tip of suggestions but come on, #discoverdonegal
